Health improvement through physical activity: lessons from sport psychology
Paul Wylleman is professor of Sport Psychology and Psychology of Leisure at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He has published and presented on, amongst others, mental skills development, sport psychology support provision, and career and life style management. During the past 20 years, Paul has been a sport psychology consultant to talented, elite and Olympic athletes. He is President of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC) and co-ordinator of the European Forum for Applied Sport psychologists in Topsport (FAST). Paul is currently involved in a European project relating sport psychology research and support provision to the promotion of physical activity and health.
